In 1967, a young Staff Sergeant named Robert (Bob) Krowska joined the team at Thoung Duc. His specialty was Operations and
Intelligence (O&I). Bob stayed with the team into 1968. 1968 was a rough year for A-109. The team team lost several
members -- either KIA or WIA. The following photos were submitted by Bob Brack.
Note: In 1972 Robert W. Krowska had his name legally changed to Robert F. Brack.

Some of the best damn soldiers in the world got together in California in 2001 to renew friendships shared many years ago.. These men all share a common bond: they humped through the jungle around Special Forces camp A-109,
Thuong Duc, RVN, fighting an enemy they couldn't see in a war we couldn't win.
We salute you, fellows!!
